CU Social Film Series

For our first CU Social Film Series, we’ll be celebrating Black History Month with a screening of the short film The Peter Mott House Underground Railroad Museum produced by PBS. Following the film will be a presentation by Ellen D. Alford, on the topic of her recently published book Abolition and the Underground Railroad in South Jersey: Not Without a Fight. Ellen is a native South Jersey resident and local historian who researches and writes about the Underground Railroad, slavery, abolition and Harriet Tubman in South Jersey.
