Practice your newly gained ID skills with CU Maurice River Naturalist Mary Watkins for a Bayshore shorebird walk. The group will be looking for migratory shorebirds along the Bayshore region. Possible species that may be seen include red knots, ruddy turnstones, and semipalmated sandpipers. After careful scouting, an itinerary will be shared with registrants.

Join CU Maurice River, South Jersey Land & Water Trust, the AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassadors, and Parvin State Park staff for a BioBlitz on June 8th! A BioBlitz is a community science effort to find and identify as many species as possible within a designated location. It’s a biological inventory of the organisms living in a certain place which generates useful data for science and conservation.
