Birds & Botany Breakfast Walks

Bring your bagel and coffee or protein bar and water, and join Citizens United to Protect the Maurice River and Its Tributaries, Inc., for a weekly “Birds and Botany” Breakfast Walk on the Maurice River Recreation Paths on Tuesday mornings from June 16 through July 21, 7 a.m.to 8 a.m.

It’s a great way to start the day—before the heat of the day, and the bugs biting, and early enough to make it to work on time! Marsh birds frequent the area—green herons, great blue herons, and osprey are all likely species, along with red-bellied turtles, and possibly kingfishers and an eagle or two.

We will meet at Waltman Park. The walks are open to the public at no charge. For more information, or to register, contact Associate Director Renee Brecht at 856-305-3238.
